Board Meetings held first Wednesday of every month, 10 a.m. at the Art Center Gallery, 152 N. Main Street, Porterville. Members are welcome. For more information, please call the PAA Gallery at 784-4323. General meetings and workshops are held at the Santa Fe Depot, 280 N. 4th Street, Porterville, Ca. Featuring guest artist demonstrations at no cost. Cost to attend workshops - PAA Members: $30; Non-members: $35 Join PAA and save $5.00. Join us at 10 a.m., Saturday, September 24, at the Santa Fe Depot, for our first meeting of the new season. We’ll have some business to discuss, and you will be able to pick up your new PAA Directory, as well. Following that, we are honored to present our much-anticipated demo by Marty Weekly, well-known Exeter native and highly respected plein air oil painter. We hope you will be there with us to watch him paint. The meeting and demo are free to mem-bers, and will cost $5 for non-members. Marty’s demo will be followed at 1 p.m. by our “Paint What You Love” paint-in at the depot, open to all members who want to join us. Paint in any medium, subject unlimited. There’s no cost and no instruction, it’s just for fun. Join us if you can. Hope to see you there! Upcoming Local Shows and Events Please view our News page for more "Who's Showing Where". Peggy Shaffer, will be showing at the Courthouse Gallery in Exeter, July 1 through September 30. A reception will be held Sunday, July 10, from 2-4 pm. The gallery is located at 125 South “B” Street in Exeter. Hours are Saturdays & Sundays, from 10 am to 4 pm. Tom Howell’s work will be included in a show in Thousand Oaks in June, and he continues to par-ticipate in Fresno’s ArtHop, the first Thursday each month, at Corridor 2122 Gallery, 2122 Mono Street, Fresno.
