Welcome to the Porterville Mural Project
Celebrating Porterville's Rich History through Murals

The Porterville Mural Committee, made up of representatives of the Porterville Art Association, Chamber of Commerce, Main, and City, commissioned local Springville artist Steven Ball to paint Porterville's first mural. The Centennial mural can be found on the south wall of the House of Brides, across the street from The Bank of the Sierra (map). This wonderful mural is based on a turn of the century picture of Main Street looking north to the Morton Street School.

The second Porterville mural is in progress and will commemorate the city's flower, the Iris. Again, Steven Ball will design and paint this Iris Garden mural. The mural will be located on Main Street adjacent to the new Downtown Park. For more information about Porterville's flower, please visit the Iris Festival page.
